Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for a general practitioner to Enköping Health Center!

We are looking for you, a general practitioner who wants to contribute to the development of primary care in Enköping. We offer a permanent full-time position starting by agreement.

The health center has a new management structure that includes our operations manager and the physician responsible for medical management. We work with a focus on development, patient safety, and work environment. This includes methods to promote accessibility and continuity, ensuring you can complete your tasks and have control over your workday.

Your mission

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with varied responsibilities, with opportunities for assignments in child health care (BVC), maternity care (MVC), asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, elderly care, and special elderly care (SÄBO). It also includes supervision of medical students and residents as well as some on-call duties.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine and a Swedish medical license. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients through all stages of life. You are a good communicator in Swedish, both spoken and written, and can easily establish contact with both patients and colleagues.

As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. Your ability to collaborate and your willingness to develop the organization will be beneficial to us. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our organization

The health center belongs to the Near Care and Health administration, Region Uppsala, and is centrally located next to the hospital in Enköping. The organization also includes a branch in Fjärdhundra. Together with the branch, the health center has about 9,500 registered patients, and we have about 40 employees working closely together. We have a good exchange with the hospital, and there is also an emergency reception nearby. Our patients come from both urban and surrounding rural areas.
